About the American Pitbull Terrier
The American Pitbull Terrier is a muscular and intimidating dog. This is one of the breeds that humans are most afraid of because of its tendency to become aggressive. According to some research on temperament, the American Pitbull Terrier averages over 80%; therefore, he needs a determined and strong- minded master who can correctly train him so he may not develop that aggressivenesss toward people and other animals.
Despite such bad reputatiom, the American Pitbull Terrier is an affectinate and friendly protector of the family and property. Like any other breed, the American Pitbull Terrier should be exposed to interaction with people and other animals at an early age.
The American Pitbull Terrier is actually known as an agile, versatile breed of dogs which has won many obedience, agility, and weight lifting competitons, among others.
